Subsidies for research and innovation projects in collaboration with the "la Caixa" Foundation
The City of Barcelona, in collaboration with the ”la Caixa” Foundation, launches a biennial subsidy line for research and innovation projects aimed at developing solutions in areas such as community health, city digitization, new technologies, quality of life improvement, climate emergency, and sustainability, to address urban challenges in the city. This initiative seeks to generate innovative, evidence-based ideas and solutions, fostering collaboration between research centres, third-sector entities, and the city's economic and social fabric.
Through this subsidy line, we aim to inform future political decisions to improve people's well-being and build a more sustainable and inclusive city. Additionally, the initiative seeks to promote open access and the dissemination of research results to citizens to ensure effective knowledge transfer and contribute to scientific culture in the public.
