This participation is essential so that science can become a shared value for all citizens, all neighbourhoods and social actors. Thus, local people and organisations form part of the map of agents involved in political decision-making in scientific and university matters and do so through platforms such as decidim.barcelona and bodies such as the Scientific Advisory Council and the Municipal Universities Advisory Council.
