URBANSOSTEN
For a new conception of urban commerce: transformations of consumer spaces in Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
URBANSOSTEN aims to describe and understand the change in land use in seven commercial hubs in Barcelona and its metropolitan area. To this end, different analytical dimensions are chosen, such as the growing weight of the land market, the virtualisation of the economy and the attitude of the consumer society. The analysis of the process should allow a critical and argued evaluation of some of the policies aimed at commercial and urban sustainability that are being carried out.
