Barcelona, Metropolis of Climate Welcome: legal and safe routes for environmental migration in times of global crisis.
BAMAC wants to analyse the position of big cities like Barcelona in the protection of people who are forced to migrate due to climate change. The aim is to carry out a systemic analysis of Barcelona's regulatory framework in order to identify obstacles and possibilities in the protection of people migrating for environmental reasons, of the conceptual framework of environmental migration and to foster collaboration and dialogue between the scientific community, civil society and international metropolises.
