Services

The SDEA offers the following free services:

  • We offer a reference and guidance service that consists of providing any information a user may need (teachers requesting materials and resources to carry out projects with their students, professionals who want to examine air quality and air pollution at their facilities, students who need specific data on mobility in the city, etc.)

    The guidance we offer can be in-person, over the phone or via email. You can contact us by phone (932 564 416 and 932 562 592), through this contact form or in person.

  • All the resources that are part of the SDEA's documentary collection are available for loan, except for magazines, which are for on-site consultation.

    The loan conditions are as follows:

    1. Register as a user through the User registration form.
    2. Ensure adherence to the loan period, which is 15 days, and it is a free service.
    3. Remember that in case of loss or damage to the materials, the responsible center, entity, or person must cover the cost of replacement.

  • Through the SDEA, you can borrow documents from other Barcelona City Council libraries, such as the Documents and Access to Knowledge Service (SEDAC) and departmental libraries.
     

    You can also request documents from libraries that are part of the Joint Catalogue of Catalan Universities (CCUC), from documentation centres that are part of the Network of Environmental Documentation Centres of Catalonia (DocAmbCat), and from the Network of Environmental Information and Documentation Centres (RECIDA).

  • You can visit the SDEA room and freely consult materials and resources during opening hours: 

    Mornings: Monday to Friday, from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
    Afternoons: Monday to Thursday, from 3.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

     July: Monday to Friday, from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m
    August and Christmas holidays: closed
