The More Sustainable Neighbourhoods programme
More Sustainable Neighbourhoods is the municipal program that promotes a culture of sustainability through actions and activities in the neighborhoods of Barcelona.
The program is part of the More Sustainable Barcelona Network, which includes around 2,000 organizations collectively building a city that is responsible towards people and the environment. The network is comprised of civic entities, business and commercial organizations, educational institutions, universities, professional associations, trade unions, and administrations.
More Sustainable Neighbourhoods collaborates with the members of the Barcelona Network of Environmental Facilities (XEAB) and with the general public who have signed the Citizen Commitment for a More Sustainable Barcelona, acknowledging their shared responsibility in building a more sustainable Barcelona and committing to contribute to this goal.
