"Com has vingut?" kit
If you are organising an event and you want to calculate the emissions generated in the transport by the attendees, ask for the "Com has vingut?" kit ("How did you get here?” kit) and do the math!
The “Com has vingut?" kit is designed to compute the emissions produced by the total travel distance of the attendees to an event (carbon footprint). The calculation is based on the means of transport used by the attendees on their journey and their starting point.
The kit has a calculator in a spreadsheet format so that the emissions generated in kg of CO₂ equivalents can be calculated and compensated by collaborating with the Voluntary Agreements programme of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
In a fun way and involving the participants, the “Com has vingut?" kit allows us to calculate the cost of the event in terms of the transport of the attendees and to demonstrate that the way we travel has an impact.
