Barcelona + Sostenible

To join the More Sustainable Barcelona Network, one must attend an onboarding session. These sessions are held periodically and aim to explain how the More Sustainable Barcelona Network operates to interested organizations.

This year, with the introduction of the Citizen Commitment for a More Sustainable Barcelona 2024-2034, not only must new organizations attend a session, but former members must also renew their membership by signing this new framework.

During these sessions, special emphasis will be placed on the new operational methods of the More Sustainable Barcelona Network: the commitment spaces, collective challenge work, and Actions for Sustainability.

Two types of onboarding sessions have been created to address the different realities within the Network:

1. Generic onboarding session: aimed at Network organizations without associated organizations.
2. Onboarding session for organizations with associates: exclusively for those with associated organizations (e.g., associations, colleges, guilds, etc.).

Currently, scheduled sessions are held in a virtual format.

At the end of the session, the formalization of the membership will take place with the signing of the Citizen Commitment for a More Sustainable Barcelona, the reference framework for Network organizations.
