Cròniques de la calor
Cròniques de la calor aims to document episodes of extreme heat in public space and on a microscale, with the help of the neighbourhoods affected by these heat waves.
The neighbourhood can contribute to the project by providing on-the-ground knowledge as users of public space. With the new geolocalised and fully open data that will be obtained, it is proposed to jointly develop proposals to improve the wellbeing of the neighbourhood in heat episodes.
Chronicles of heat is carried out with the collaboration of entities such as libraries, athenaeums, educational centres, neighbourhood groups and NGOs. The project brings together more than 400 people in five territories and four municipalities. Specifically, the Congrés i els Indians, Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera neighbourhoods in Barcelona; the Collblanc and Torrassa neighbourhoods in Hospitalet de Llobregat; and the municipalities of Sant Vicenç dels Horts and Montcada i Reixac.
