CitiObs
CitiObs is a project that aims to help citizen observatories address the challenges they may encounter, both from a social and technical point of view.
The project addresses the geographical and temporal scales of more than 80 European cities, where it works with citizen observatories of different types. Over four years, CitiObs promotes inclusive, open and effective participation to broaden citizen involvement in environmental issues. As such, it focuses on integrating, validating and improving citizen-generated data in processes such as research, decision-making and public policy. It also explores the factors that affect the dynamics of participation and involves creative and artistic collectives in co-creation processes.
