The project aims to create new indicators to evaluate the right to the city of Barcelona and to address the situation of high social and economic vulnerability due to the health crisis resulting from COVID-19 and the situation of social discrimination. This objective is to be achieved (1) from an intersectional feminist perspective, (2) by focusing on the emotional dimension of discrimination, (3) by breaking down geographical hierarchies and (4) by using new technological tools to collect and visualise data (Geographical Information System, Relief Maps model and SITUA application). The realisation of the objectives foresees addressing the situation of high social and economic vulnerability due to the health crisis resulting from COVID-19 and the situation of social discrimination given by a political context in which the right-wing extremist discourse is growing. It is planned to develop the empirical work in collaboration with entities and organisations of social relevance, to which the results will be disseminated.
