INTERVENTIONS IN PUBLIC SPACE
Tactical interventions in public space: a participatory diagnosis based on listening
The project aims to explore the challenge of temporary and low-cost design in Barcelona's public space. This objective is to be achieved by (1) generating a participatory and inclusive diagnosis that comparatively analyses various aspects of tactical urbanism, and (2) specifying ways of improvement, detecting proposals that can be implemented in future architectural and urban design projects of a tactical nature. The methodology will be based on the elaboration of interviews and group sessions that include, in an open and participative manner, the institutional, professional, university and citizen sectors of Barcelona. The research is exploratory, descriptive and field-based.
