Escolab Meets IBB
We visit the Botanical Institute of Barcelona (IBB), a research centre that houses large botanical collections and is dedicated to research into the classification of the plant world and pollinators and their migrations. We do so with the researcher Joan Pere Pascual who explains how new technologies and methodologies, where genetics plays a crucial role, allow us a much better resolution that can be applied in plant classification studies. Likewise, these studies allow us to discover new drugs or improve the utilities of plants.
