Science and Innovation

We visit the School of Civil Engineering of the UPC, where teaching is carried out but also a lot of research and a wide range of subjects are studied, such as transport, structures and numerical calculation. Professor and researcher Rolando Chacón specialises in "digital twins", which are virtual representations of physical systems such as a bridge. We will see, among other things, how these simulations can allow us to make more efficient, reliable and safe constructions.
