Workshops on art and science

In winter 2022, in the framework of the Collide de Arts at CERN award, Barcelona Science and Universities organised a conference at MACBA on the intersections between art, science and technology, with the participation of scientific, artistic and cultural agents from Barcelona.

The day was motivated by the residency of the artists Black Quantum Futurism at Hangar, Centre for Artistic Production and Research (Barcelona), as winners of the Collide 2020 award, who presented their project at a public event in the afternoon. Taking advantage of the presentation, a working session was held throughout the morning to debate with the main agents on the ways of working in Art and Science. The conclusions of this conference were collected in the document Art-Science Collisions: Notes from a choral dialogue in Barcelona.
