This activity is led by the young people from the Llar d’Oportunitats project and the Casal Mas Guinardó. While enjoying Moroccan tea and pastries, we will discuss and reflect on community and personal themes that provide us with tools to build new frameworks and spaces for coexistence.

On this occasion, we will have the pleasure of hosting Cafè d’Alger, a musical project that emerged in Barcelona from the collaboration of three musicians: Marc Serrats on guitar, Yacine Belahcene and Benet on darbuka and vocals, and Gabriel Fletcher Ventura on electric guitar. The Cafè d’Alger performance features a repertoire of chaâbi music and other southern styles, reinterpreted and adapted with inspiration from the greats of Algerian popular music, such as Dahmane El Harrachi, Cheikh El Hasnaoui and Amar Ezzahi.

With a unique touch, the songs are performed in Catalan, French, Arabic and Amazigh. The polyphonic voices blend perfectly with the rocksteady rhythm, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
