Companyia Júlia Godino i Alexa Moya was created to bring contemporary dance to the street and introduce new audiences to it. In Tan a prop [So Close], the performers are on a concave platform made out of plaster, a small space that is firm yet fragile.
This unpredictable material forces them to find the limits of balance and cooperation to avoid falling off the platform. It is not the performers who shape the material but the other way round: it is the plaster that guides their movements and changes the shape of their bodies.
Tan a prop is a personal exploration of interdependence and shared presence in an experience that immerses the audience in the beauty and fragility of human interaction.
