The American company Ephrat Asherie Dance brings the New York disco scene to this year's La Mercè festivities with their work Underscored.

Underscored is a multi-generational production featuring artists aged 29 to 81 that celebrates club culture from the 1970s until the present day by reviewing a wide range of music styles that include funk, disco and house, as well as decades of dance styles such as breaking, hip-hop, house, vogue, waacking and hustle.

Underscored highlights the importance of connecting with other people, including those from other generations, both on and off the dance floor. Come and enjoy an electrifying experience with great New York legends.
