Impact on mobility due to the Barcelona Triathlon

The various events will take place on Sunday, 3 November, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During this time, vehicles will be prohibited from travelling on all roads along the route.

Specifically, between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, traffic will be restricted in the following areas:

  • Avda. Litoral (seaside), from Josep Pla to Neus Bouza Gil (bus station).
  • Jonquera (Besòs side), from p.º Garcia Fària to Avda. Litoral.
  • Carmen Amaya (seaside lane), from Bisbe Climent to Llacuna.
  • Avda. Icària (both lanes), from Marina to Arquitecte Sert.
  • Marina (Besòs lane), from Salvador Espriu to Avda. Icària.
  • Marina (Besòs lane), from Doctor Trueta to Pujades.
  • Marina (Llobregat lane), from Pujades to Doctor Trueta.
  • Sardenya (Llobregat side), from Pujades to Ramon Turró.
  • Ramon Trias Fargas (Llobregat side), from Ramon Turró to Villena.
  • Llull (both sides), from Sardenya to Marina.
  • Ramon Turró (both sides), from Marina to Ramon Trias Fargas.
  • Doctor Trueta (mountain side), from Ramon Trias Fargas to Marina.
  • Wellington, from Llull to Pujades.
  • P.º Circumval·lació (mountain lane).
  • P.º Marítim de Nova Icària (both sides).
  • P.º Marítim del Bogatell (both sides).
  • Avda. Litoral (seaside), from pl. Voluntaris Olímpics to Llacuna.
  • Avda. Litoral (seaside), from the pedestrian crossing (near rbla. Poblenou) to Jonquera.

Additionally, exits 23 (both directions) and 24 (towards Besòs) from the Ronda del Litoral will also be closed.

Traffic will gradually resume as the last runners pass through each section.

Parking prohibitions

Parking will be prohibited from 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, 2 November, until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 3 November, in the following areas:

  • P.º Garcia Fària (mountain side), from Josep Pla to Selva de Mar.
  • P.º Garcia Fària (mountain side), from Josep Ferrater i Móra to Lope de Vega.
  • P.º Calvell (mountain lane), from Ferrocarril to Rbla. Poblenou.
  • P.º Calvell (mountain lane), from Pje. Aymar to Llacuna.
  • Salvador Espriu, from Llacuna to Arquitecte Sert.
  • Arquitecte Sert (both sides), from Avda. Icària to Salvador Espriu.
  • Pujades-Marina (corner seaside – Llobregat, motorbike lane).
  • Pujades (both sides), from Avda. Meridiana to Marina.
  • Avda. Litoral, from Llacuna to the zebra crossing (near Rbla. Poblenou).
  • Avda. Litoral, from Bac de Roda to Selva de Mar (the two motorbike parking areas located in the former closed parking lot in front of Nova Mar Bella beach).
  • Avda. Litoral, from Selva de Mar to Josep Pla (the two motorbike parking areas located in the former closed parking lot in front of Llevant beach).

Public transport

The affected bus routes that will be diverted or have limited services are: H14, H16, V15, V17, V19, V21, V23, V25, V27, V29, 47, 59, 120, 136 and the tourist bus (red route).
