The choreographic universe of choreographer, dancer and actor Toni Mira is back onstage, now accompanied by young dancers. His showTempo explores how different musical rhythms affect us at an emotional level and how these emotions are transformed into movement.

In this personal journey, the choreographer seeks inspiration in the new generations of dancers, both in terms of their energy and their approach to the discipline. Mira, meanwhile, brings his keen sense of rhythm, as well as his precise and imaginative use of stage space.

Tempo invites us to connect body with imagination and memory, evoking the kinds of emotions we’ve all felt and experiences we’ve all had at some point when listening or dancing to a bolero, a waltz or a jazz piece.
