Verbena uses the festivities as an opportunity for us to meet and recognise our legacy and manifestation of popular traditions: legends, symbols, dances, costumes and songs. The show highlights the power of traditions and the authenticity of ancestral customs and forms of expression.

This contemporary dance piece regains gatherings in the square as a political act, the goal being dialogue and dance, as with the ancient agoras. The show works as a celebration of collective identity and the intangible value of dances.

Verbena encourages festivity as a ritual, with responsibility and commitment from all those present, open to all, reminding us where we came from and forging the foundations of our community.
