Valencian company OtraDanza make their debut in Barcelona with La Banda, a show that brings together dance, music, theatre, acrobatics, juggling and street circus.
La Banda is a nomadic, chaotic family: five characters who couldn’t be any more different, but who complement each other perfectly. Together, they break the mould and do away with all rigid structures or limitations, having fun as they work and share expertise and experiences.
With this metaphor of teamwork, OtraDanza calls for a space where we can come together and discover, through the little things, the meaning of existing, living and sharing life with others. Indeed, sharing, connection, adaptation and reinvention are some of the key words in this show that will delight young and old alike.
