Founded on 10 May 1981 in Badalona, the Cobla Marinada has been one of the most innovative and active groups in the world of the Sardanas, with a constant presence at the most prestigious events in Catalonia and abroad.

With a musical repertoire that ranges from classical pieces by emblematic composers to works by contemporary ones, the Cobla Marinada stands out for its ability to innovate and its modern vision. 

Its conductors, from Salvador Malonda to the current German conductor Tobias Gossmann, have brought an international, symphonic and contemporary vision, without ever losing sight of the traditional roots.
