“Auca performada de drets culturals” is a live radio project from the Barcelona Community Radio Network, presented by Marc Giró and with the participation of illustrator Flavita Banana.
The radio show is a joint CULTUROPOLIS-Barcelona Community Radio Network production, a project that aims to showcase leading radio stations, upcoming broadcasters and ephemeral radio stations. These independent radio stations and streaming hubs give a voice to different cultural scenes and communities in the city. It is a non-commercial, public-community project that promotes new talent in the field of communication.
Also taking part in the event will be Flamenco Queer, the musical project of the Badalona bailaor Rubén Heras and guitarist Jero Férec, from London. The ensemble proposes a traditional form of flamenco that is based on identity and asserts flamenco’s inclusivity, while recalling the confluence of the queer, transvestite and flamenco community of Raval and Poble-sec at the beginning of the 20th century.
