Elisabeth Ruiz is trained in Sociology, Demography and Cultural Management.

After starting her professional career in research and market studies (1997-1999), she made a professional turn, studied cultural management and began working in this field. She has almost twenty years of experience in the field of performing arts.

She has worked for the companies Senza Tempo and Iliacan Dansa (2004-2007) (founding companies of La Caldera dance space) and for Cia. LAV's (2010). She has also been production assistant for Minimal Films (2009), assistant to the technical director of Teatre Lliure (2010); and has participated in several research projects in the field of performing arts: in the program of new audiences Anem al Teatre (2004-2006- ODA - Diputació de Barcelona); in TRÀNSIT Projects (2006), in the APdC (2011 - Professional Dance Association of Catalonia), and more recently in the Plataforma Cultura de Base de Barcelona.

She has worked at Antic Teatre since 2010, as project coordinator and responsible for the financial management of the space.

She defines herself as a committed cultural manager. He likes challenges and projects that can be done between different groups.

She is part of the platform (or common front of struggle) Cultura de Base since 2019.
