Daniel Granados, a musician, producer and cultural researcher, is currently the Barcelona City Council Delegate for Cultural Rights and a lecturer for the Master’s degree Music Industry and Sound Studies at the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M). He has promoted the Cultura Viva programme in Barcelona.
He also directed Producciones Doradas, a producer of contemporary popular music, and founded the International Music Observatory (IMO), a body dedicated to the research and study of the music sector in urban contexts in collaboration with the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and the Primavera Sound festival. Daniel was a founder member of the ZZZINC cultural innovation and research platform comprised of professionals from the curatorial, cultural production, journalism and university teaching fields.
He has worked with the Sónar festival and Monkey Week, and also directed the radio programme El Diferencial.
