The National Public Library in Girona, the largest among the public library network in Catalonia, is a cube-shaped building, with a square plan, with an elementary geometric volume, the work of the architects Mario Corea, Lluís Moran and Sebastián Guerrico. Light plays a central role in the building. The 7,121 m2 building boasts nearly 300,000 documents, 350 reading points and 80 connected computers. Twenty-one people work at the library, with nearly 1,300 daily visits.
