Come and learn about the innovation in Catalan vaults at the Recinte de l'Escola Industrial (Industrial School Site).
Just like the architect Rafael Guastavino innovated with the construction of the Catalan-style vault nearly a century ago, at the Eixample Architecture Festival, in the pedestrian walkway that connects Carrer de Paris with Carrer de Rosselló, in the dining rooms of the student residence, we will discover how Catalan architects continue to push the limits of ceramics and the Catalan vault to their structural and artistic, while still breaking all the moulds.
