During La Mercè festivities, the site, which has now been recovered for use by the citizens of Barcelona, has been the setting of the Mercè Arts de Carrer festival’s circus activities for years.

The decoration of the MAC space in the Montjuïc Castle for La Mercè 2024 is a creation by Jordi Gibert.
