Laura Huerga
Laura Huerga, born in Barcelona in 1978, is a publisher and founder of Raig Verd, a publishing house for essays and fiction known in the fantastic genre world for its devotion to publishing Ursula K. Le Guin’s works in Catalan, to great acclaim. She’s been the chair of the Catalan chapter of PEN since 2022, has written two stories for children and co-authored her first book-length essay Tu, calla! [Shut Up!], about freedom of expression and demonstration. Her opinion pieces can be found on El Nacional.
