Philip F. Yuan
Professor, CAUP, Tongji University; Thomas Jefferson professor, University of Virginia (2019); Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architecture; Editor-in-Chief, Architectural Intelligence; Council member, UIA Professional Practice Commission (PPC); Co-founder of DigitalFUTURES Association; Founding partner of Archi-Union Architects & Fab-Union Technology.
Yuan was attributed with UIA 2023 The Auguste Perret Prize for Technology in Architecture. His work has been recognised with notable awards, including 2022 AIA Open International | Architecture Honor Award, 2022 Dezeen Award Best Civic Building, and 2020 ACADIA Innovative Academic Program Award of Excellence. Yuan has participated in the Venice biennale, the Chicago biennale, the Milan triennial, and the Tallin biennale. His works have been collected by MOMA New York, M+ Hong Kong and Centre National d'Art et de Culture Georges Pompidou.
