We currently have the guided tour "Let's go around the world" available in English.
A cross-sectional tour that allows you to discover the most representative pieces of the museum from both an artistic and anthropological perspective. These are objects from Africa, Oceania, Asia and America from a wide variety of cultural groups and that cover a wide chronological range, from pre-Columbian pieces to objects from the 20th century. We will discover the origin of these collections and the protagonists, the colonial legacy and the scientific expeditions that made it possible for them to arrive in Barcelona. Through anthropology we will learn about the context of the cultures that produced these objects and their ways of living and understanding the world. We will approach worlds that we will find strange and, at the same time, we will look at what is most familiar to us with different eyes, to turn our vision of the world upside down.
