Accessibility
The Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB) works together with the Municipal Institute for People with Disabilities (IMPD) in order to ensure that everyone is able to attend the city's cultural events.
As part of the process of becoming an open museum, so that everyone has access to culture, the Museu Etnològic i de Cultures del Món's Parc Montjuïc Venue has:

- Reserved parking spaces for the vehicles of people with reduced mobility.
- Toilets adapted for wheelchairs.
- One accessible and one passable lift.

Mediation
The Museu Etnològic i de Cultures del Món collaborates with the project Apropa Cultura, which offers cultural activities at affordable prices for people at risk of social exclusion and people with disabilities.
Prices
The Museu Etnològic i de Cultures del Món offers discounts or free admission to people with disabilities who have the Targeta Rosa Reduïda or the Targeta Rosa Gratuïta discount cards. Furthermore, free admission is granted to people who have the Metropolitan pass for companions of a person with disabilities.
Guide dogs are allowed access to the building and the exhibition halls.

Library
The Museu Etnològic i de Cultures del Món Library is located in the Parc Montjuïc Venue and it specialises in social anthropology and ethnology. It has a fine collection —over 22,000 items— of publications related to all cultural aspects and representations of life in society.
