Visitable reserve collection
The visitable reserve collection is a storage space where you can enjoy a wide variety of heritage items kept by the museum. There are approximately 3,250 exhibits on display, distributed in 46 display cases by materials, subdivided by geographical origin and the conditions needed for their preventative conservation.
This is a public space containing cultural assets that people can visit. However, unlike the permanent exhibition, the area's main function is to act as a reserve. For this reason, some pieces are placed at a great height and are almost not visible, or perhaps the information is limited to posters of the set of objects, with basic information on cultural uses, geographical origins and materials. However, there are two interactive devices where you can find additional information on some of the exhibits or on aspects relating to the preventative conservation of each material.
