Josep Maria Muñoz
Historian
(Barcelona, 1959). He earned his PhD in Contemporary History from the University of Barcelona, with a thesis on Jaume Vicens Vives. He is also a translator and editor.
Over a span of 24 years (1999-2023), he held the position of director at L’Avenç magazine – contributing to shaping it into a cultural reference publication –, and at the publishing house of the same name. Additionally, Muñoz has authored several books and occasionally contributes to the press in Barcelona.
