The Palestinian sound platform Zilzal (‘earthquake’ in Arabic) is presenting two extraordinarily talented women artists at the Festival BAM 2024, each with her own unique sound and charm.

Astan KA is a singer-rapper, entertainer and event curator based in Berlin. With a French mother and Malian father, she considers herself the daughter of reconciliation. Her experimental music explores genres like jazz, drill, trap and ethnic-African sounds, and she creates her own musical universe that she calls gangsta jazz.

gbw9 is a DJ based between Morocco and Holland, who started her career in the world of music under this name in 2021. Since then, she has stood out for sharing music with audiences according to how things make you feel instead of how they are perceived.
