Shobee (Chouaib Ribati) is one of Morocco’s most influential authors, one of the pioneers in affirming and modernising rap in the country and a figure of empowerment, a role model for young Moroccans.

His success within the NAAR collective made him influential first in Morocco and then beyond its borders, with collaborations with international artists such as Laylow and Amir Obè, and tours in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Shobee released his first solo project, HOWLS, in 2023, an album that has notched up more than 12 million streams.
