Sofía Rhei

Sofía Rhei, born in Madrid in 1978, is a writer specialising in speculative genres and experimental poetry, with over 50 works published. She collects seeds and Lego bricks, and writes for children (El joven Moriarty [Young Moriarty], Olivia Shakespeare, Cómo tener ideas [How to Have Ideas]), young adults (Flores de sombra [Shadow Flowers], La calle Andersen [Andersen Street], El rostro que te di [The Face I Gave You]) and adults (Róndola, Espérame en la última página [Wait for Me on the Last Page], El bosque profundo [The Depths of the Forest] and Newropía). Her work has won her awards such as the Javier Egea, Celsius, Kelvin, Spirit of Dedication, Dwarf Stars and the Venezuelan Book Bank Honourable Mention, and has been featured in the White Ravens catalogue.
