THE ART OF RETELLING THE BIG TOPICS
Before psychology existed as a discipline, traditional stories already reflected their own archetypes and characters. The symbolic tropes of fairy tales were timeless, reflecting the essence of the human condition and its passions. This workshop on the growing phenomenon of retelling immortal stories will be led by author and expert in the topic Sofía Rhei, who has explored it in some of her works and will teach participants about the sources in this sub-genre that come from popular narrative, well-known collections and the opportunity to recreate their chronotopes. Through 13 key points, Rhei will share how these kinds of re-interpretations can help with the two main types of fantasy, and will provide narrative resources for authors based on acclaimed examples.
