Lisa Tuttle
Lisa Tuttle, born in Houston, Texas, in 1952, holds a degree in English literature from Syracuse University in New York and has been a journalist, fandom activist and author of science fiction, horror and fantasy works, as well as essays and feminist texts. Residing in Scotland since 1981, she has won awards such as the John W. Campbell, the BSFA and the Nebula, which she refused. She co-authored the Locus finalist Windhaven with George R.R. Martin, and her novels translated into Spanish include A Nest of Nightmares (Nevsky) and Lost Futures (Gigamesh), a list that should be much longer considering her prestige and quality.
