Inés Galiano

Inés Galiano, born in Murcia in 1992, holds degrees in translation and interpreting, audiovisual communication (from East Tennessee State University) and cinema (from the Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia, or ESCAC). She’s directed short films such as Frames  (winner of the Latino Award for a debut work) and plays such as Sonríe que estás más guapa [You’re Prettier When You Smile] and Cuatrocientas [Four Hundred]. Editor and host of the Droids & Druids magazine and podcast, she’s also the curator of the Terramur Festival and has published novels such as Proyecto Kétchup [Project Ketchup] (Obscura), which won a 2023 Ignotus Award and was shortlisted for a Kelvin, and her recent Crónica de dos noches sin verano [Chronicle of Two Summerless Nights] (LiterUp).
