Glòria Gorchs

Glòria Gorchs, born in Granollers in 1972, is a librarian specialising in children’s and young adult literature. Her work in public libraries focuses on exploring and designing activities to support children on their reading journey. She’s a member of the BibBotó Working Group on Children’s and YA Libraries as part of the Professional Association of Librarians and Documentarians of Catalonia (COBC), and she’s been working with IBBYcat, an organisation for children’s/young adult books in Catalan, since 2002. She writes about books in Faristol, Cavall Fort and Tatano magazines, and currently works at the Roca Umbert Library in Granollers.
