Edgar Cotes

Edgar Cotes (Balaguer, 1997) is a translator and a copy editor, and works subtitling live-broadcast TV3 programmes. His works include a collection of micro-stories Els híbrids minvants (2017), published when he was only 20, the novel Cordegel (2021) and the essay Manuel de Pedrolo: punt final (2021). His short stories have featured in several collective volumes. He has translated works into Catalan by authors such as H. P. Lovecraft, Mary Shelley, Mike Resnick and Adrian Tchaikovsky. He also co-presents Esperant el cometa, a podcast on fantasy genres.

His supernatural horror novel Un àngel cruel was published this autumn (Spècula, 2023).
