Malka Older

Malka Older is a science fiction writer, humanitarian worker, and sociologist. She holds a BA in Literature from Harvard University, as well as an MA in international relations and economics. Spanish translations of her work include those of the short story collection Actually, Naneen, the anthology Abrazando la revolución (Crononauta, 2022), and La Digestión del tejón o La primera descripción de primera mano del arte de las bestias llevada a cabo por una investigadora aouwana, in the bilingual magazine Constelación. Most recently, Older penned the novel The mimicking of known successes (Crononaut, 2023), a cosy crime mystery that reinvents Sherlock Holmes-style adventures with a sci-fi setting and queer characters. A sequel has already been announced.
