The service attended to 14 boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 11.

The childcare service implemented by the Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race has been a resounding success. This initiative allowed couples to run together in this iconic sports event, avoiding the need for one of the members to stay at home with the children.

In total, the service catered to 14 boys and girls, aged between 3 and 11, who enjoyed games and activities while their families participated in the race.

This initiative is part of the 52 actions within the Sports and Gender Government Measure of the Barcelona City Council, aimed at promoting gender equality in sports within the city. The service falls under the Sports Events with a Gender Perspective action line, with the goal of assessing the feasibility of establishing care spaces at mass participation events.
