This year, the event includes a new feature: the Mercè Bimbo Global Race Family Run.

On September 29 , as part of the Mercè Festival, the streets of Barcelona will once again be filled with runners ready to celebrate the city's major festival through sport.

Registrations to participate are now open.

With the usual 10-kilometre , route, the race will start at 8.30 a.m. on Avenida de la Reina Maria Cristina and will explore the city center, passing through iconic places such as Avenida Paral·lel, Paseo de Sant Joan, and Plaza Universidad. The maximum participation will be 12.000 runners, and registration will close once this number is reached.

The 2K Race is an adapted event that runs simultaneously with the 10K race and is aimed at people over 14 years old with intellectual disabilities or reduced mobility who, due to their physical condition, cannot complete a 10 km distance.

For the first time, as part of the Mercè Bimbo Global Race series, the Family Run will be held. This event is aimed at families, in any format, who cannot, due to physical condition and/or age, or do not wish to run the main 10K race.

Registration are now open and will close once 12.000 participants have registered for the 10K and 2K events, and 1,000 for the Mercè Bimbo Global Race Family Run.
