La Mercè Bimbo Global Race, one of the city’s most anticipated sporting events of the year, already has more than 1000 people registered! This number reveals participants’ enormous expectation and interest to take part in this race.

Since its creation, La Mercè Bimbo Global Race has become an annual tradition in Barcelona, bringing together amateurs of all ages and in all physical conditions. This year, the race will be held on 17 September and will travel through the most emblematic streets of the city.

With a 10-kilometre course, la Mercè Bimbo Global Race offers participants the opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere bubbling up everywhere in Barcelona for its patron saint celebrations. In addition to the general category, this year has new categories, such as the first edition of the Mercè Bimbo Global Youth Race (for boys and girls born between 2007 and 2011), and the 2K race for people with reduced mobility that was already a feature of previous editions, ensuring inclusive participation for all.
