Sac de rondalles (bag of tales): “Posa’t el meu barret!” (put on my hat!)
For children aged 4 and over.
We’ll hear the story of two peoples in the world of the Nimaïds. The Parapà live in a beautiful place full of meadows, rivers, trees, and animals… They have everything they need to live very well. They all wear blue hats and can only speak using the vowel a. In contrast, the Bilibí live in a semi-desert area that has been ravaged by the war they have endured. They are poor and starving. They all wear round red hats and can only use the vowel i. One day, the Bilibí decide to flee from poverty and seek asylum, offering to work for the Parapà, who, in fact, have a great deal of unused land because their population is smaller. The Parapà’s initial rejection of such different people will gradually shift, thanks to the efforts of the two most sensible leaders from each village. They will propose a hat exchange and a vowel game that allows them to empathise with one another, learn new things, create new words and more. The later interactions with other Nimaïd peoples (with different hats, vowels, etc.) will enrich their language and lead to more innovations.
