We will read novels with feminist, anti-racist, and class-conscious perspectives that tell the story of the protagonists’ journeys of growth, but above all, stand out for the strength and style of the narrative voice.

Led by Berta Gómez Santo Tomás, a journalist specialising in feminism, culture, and new digital formats. She founded La Fronde magazine has been published in El MundoSModaPikaraEl SaltoVICE and eldiario.es, and she the editor-in-chief at PlayGround. She hosts a book programme on Código Nuevo: “Mucho Texto”. She currently works in publishing and has been running book clubs since 2020.

1st book: October - La mala costumbre, by Alana S. Portero (which has been translated into English as Bad Habit)

2nd book: November - Girl, Woman, Other, by Bernadine Evaristo

3rd book: December - The Color Purple, by Alice Walker
