The Vallès School of Architecture (ETSAV) of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC BarcelonaTech) is an architecture school with an autonomous structure that emphasises sustainable living as a specific field of knowledge for architects. The school also identifies and promotes the role of new architects with cross-disciplinary skills who are capable of providing a response to social challenges and working in participatory, interdisciplinary processes in order to transform the built environment.
